Pretty milk jug, approx. 170 ml for a can of milk, canned milk, condensed milk can, 1000 fine silver plating. We also have a matching sugar bowl in the same wave motif and a small candlestick that decorated my parents' Sunday coffee table. The three pieces are not completely identical, but very similar and because we used them together, they are also sold here as a set of three.
The milk jug with the two special plugs/peeps to open the canned milk has a patent and is hallmarked with “DBP 1000 fine silver edition H.K.E” and is in a very good antique condition.
The hallmark means: D. B .P. - German Federal Patent, a patent from 1930-1940 Art Deco years Manufacturer was H. K. E. Hans Knäbel Esslingen.
Height: 8 cm. Diameter bottom 6,5 cm Weight: 160 gr. The sugar bowl stands on 3 feet and has a height of 7 cm and a diameter of 9 cm, you can clearly see signs of use and scratches, but this does not detract from the vintage charm - silver-plated without hallmarks.
The candlestick is also in very good vintage condition with no scratches or abrasions worth mentioning. Height 10 cm, diameter bottom 8 cm, top suitable for a 2.5 cm diameter candle, silver-plated condition without hallmarks.
This set is a wonderful example of antiques & art from before 1945.
