TIPS: The most common and most popular preparation of escargot as an appetizer is “Escargot a la bourguignonne” according to a French recipe. The snails are baked in their shells with herb butter in a pan and gratinated. Usually, six or twelve snails are served with special snail tongs and a fork. These snail tongs are indispensable for the classic French dish with snails.
You can obtain this snail tool with tongs and fork from us as part of the pan set. See photo. This vintage metal escargot / snail tongs is as good as new in the original box and looks fantastic. The packaging, the box has age-related signs of use, the lid is slightly damaged.
Hallmarked “ROSTINEVER” snail forks have teeth specially designed to extract the snail meat from the shell, while the claw holds the shell in place. The cutlery is made of high quality INOX stainless steel, making it corrosion resistant and easy to clean.
